Into The Dragon’s Keep

Here’s an engaging and imaginative work for developing musicians that has the added benefit of providing great teaching opportunities! “Into The Dragon’s Keep” opens and closes with a haunting flute/optional piccolo solo that will leave your students feeling like they just stepped into a story. Utilizing an open drone in the low brass throughout, giving it a very medieval and Celtic sound, your students will be engaged as they learn about playing in contrasting meters of 3/4 and 6/8, and in Dorian mode.
