Los Angeles native Lenny Stack (b. 1938) holds a Bachelor of Music degree in composition from the University of Southern California, where he studied with David Raksin and Miklos Rosza. He has written arrangements for the Tonight Show Band of Doc Severinsen, The Buddy Rich Big Band, and the Louis Bellson Big Band. Lenny has composed original songs for recording artists including Diana Ross and Dionne Warwick. He has been musical director as well as composer/arranger for many television series, specials, and motion pictures, and he received an Emmy Award for his arranging work on the “Screen Actor’s Guild 50th Anniversary Special.”

Lenny Stack passed away on September 22, 2019.
